Due to the current impacts of COVID-19 on in-person testing centres, UOW is accepting Alternative English tests for 2022 intakes.
The requirements for accepting these tests are:
English for Tertiary Studies (ETS) is for students who need to improve their English in order to gain admission to undergraduate or postgraduate university study.
Length of study and hours per week
This course is 20-22 hours per week in class tuition for either 4, 6, 12 or 18 weeks depending on your IELTS (or equivalent) score and the score you require for university entry.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in social sciences, psychology, public health, education, nursing, or related undergraduate qualification with at least one year of Social Science content (i.e. studies of the individual and society)
