The environment faces threats and challenges that include climate change, habitat loss, overpopulation, emerging contaminant and pollution events, and food and water security.
The breadth of these environmental challenges requires a combination of knowledge and skills in chemistry, biology, statistics, research and earth sciences for an interdisciplinary approach to surmounting these difficulties.
In RMIT's Bachelor of Environmental Science at RMIT, you will learn about the biogeochemical processes that occur in both natural and degraded environments and specialise in areas of study such as environmental biology, environmental chemistry, geosciences or geospatial sciences.

You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 65%.
Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post-secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted.
