Conestoga's Public Relations Diploma Program is your first step towards an exciting career in communications. 

This program teaches you how to build relationships between organizations and their many stakeholders. 

This highly interactive diploma has you working with live clients, delving into case studies, and building your professional portfolio with relevant pieces as you progress. 

You will discover creative communication strategies to solve organizational problems and make the most of business opportunities with key publics.

You will develop and apply various writing styles and tactical execution developed with a foundation of business knowledge. 

Brand reputation, media relations, crisis and issues management, digital media, presentation skills, research, emerging technology, design, and public relations solutions are only some of the skills you will add to your resume.

The college's professional advisory committee allows you to meet and connect with leaders in the industry. 

You will step into the field for a five-week immersive placement opportunity in your fourth semester and gain career experience before graduating. 

Graduates from this program will be well equipped to pursue social media management, public relations for non-profits, event coordinating, media relations, work within PR agencies or communication departments, and support entrepreneurial endeavours.

Conestoga offers a language program for students whose English language skills are below the standard required for admission but have met all other admission criteria.

You will be eligible for admission to the degree program after completing level 4 of the General Arts and Science - English Language Studies (ELS) program with an overall grade average of 80% and no grade less than 75%

Your placement in the ELS program is determined by scores on an in-house English language test or TOEFL or IELTS.
