The Sprott School of Business offers a Bachelor of International Business that equips students with the foundation and global perspective they need to make a difference in the world.
Intensive language training and intercultural skills gained through firsthand international experience prepare students for careers around the world.
The Bachelor of International Business (BIB) focuses on intensive language training; a full academic year abroad; courses in business fundamentals; specialized courses; and the option to pursue a concentration.
During the first two years at Carleton University, you will take courses in all key areas of business and complete intensive language training.
In the third year, you will complete an international internship and/or study abroad at one of 40+ international partner institutions.
Sprott students also gain resume-building skills through experiential learning opportunities, such as: working on real projects for business and community clients through the Sprott Student Consulting Group.
International Business offers concentrations in Global Financial Management and Systems, International Marketing and Trade, and International Strategy and Human Resources Management.

Students with scores shown in Table below may be admitted with an English as a Second Language Requirement (ESLR).
When they first start in their program, these students will be required to take our ESL Foundation courses along with a limited number of courses from their degree program.
This admission with an ESLR allows students to earn academic credits from degree courses taken while completing the English requirements.
