Environmental sciences, technology, and environmental management systems and decision-making.
This program is suitable for students from a number of related disciplines, including biology, chemistry, ecology, engineering, geography, geology, public and occupational health, urban planning and environmental studies.
The Master's program has been structured to combine core and elective courses in environmental applied science and environmental management.
Students must take a core course in each area of study and a common seminar in environmental applied science and management.
All MASc students, both full- and part-time, are required to maintain continuous and active program registration from the first term of program admission until degree completion, including the spring/summer term (i.e., May-August).
Full-time students normally are expected to take a minimum of three courses per teaching term.
Graduation from the program at Toronto Metropolitan University through full-time study usually is two years after admission.
Full-time students must complete the degree requirements no more than three years after admission.
