The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced is designed for experienced professionals with ambition and drive who wish to develop their responsible and sustainable leadership skills.
You will gain a holistic strategic business point-of-view required to operate effectively in an increasingly competitive and changing global business world.

The MBA Advanced offers students the opportunity to specialist further in their area of interest by completing four additional subjects from a specialization of their choice.
Specializations are available in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Your learning approach will include real-world case studies, experiential learning including planning and executing an integrated and live business project towards the end of the course, and teamwork, with an emphasis on peer learning.
If you are interested in studying Business but do not have the specified work experience for the MBA, consider studying the Master of Business.

English for Tertiary Studies (ETS) is for students who need to improve their English in order to gain admission to undergraduate or postgraduate university study.
Length of study and hours per week
This course is 20-22 hours per week in class tuition for either 4, 6, 12 or 18 weeks depending on your IELTS (or equivalent) score and the score you require for university entry.

Recognized Bachelor degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%, plus a minimum of three years’ relevant full-time professional or managerial experience and a one-page Statement of Motivation*.
Other tertiary qualifications combined with extensive professional work experience will be considered.
Or, a recognized Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate, together with five years' full-time relevant professional or managerial experience, or part-time equivalent, and a Statement of Motivation.
Or, full membership of a qualifying professional body. Applicants with other relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or substantial relevant professional of managerial experience will also be considered for entry.
*The Statement of Motivation should be no more than one page, written in English, and address: your motivation for studying the MBA with the Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong; and how the degree will help achieve your career goals and aspirations.
