Saskatchewan's manufacturing sector continues to grow and needs skilled workers. With a diploma in Innovative Manufacturing from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, you will be prepared to help meet these needs.
The program offers a wide range of skill-based training in all aspects of the manufacturing industry, including design, CAD/CAM drafting, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining, welding, fabrication, robotics, 3-D printing and project management.
Throughout your studies, you will practice your skills and complete projects using industry-standard tools and equipment. As part of your training, you will have an opportunity to participate in a two-week, industry-based work placement.
Program faculty are accredited in their respective fields, have worked in industry and will teach you up-to-date manufacturing techniques and processes.

Applicants may be conditionally waitlisted and/or conditionally accepted where proof of registration in an English language Centre program is provided.
Proof must include a specified date by which the individual is anticipated to meet the ELP requirement.
Successful completion of a Saskatchewan Polytechnic-recognized ESL program from a Canadian college or university, if it is considered equivalent to Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s required TOEFL iBT or IELTS admission requirements.
Proficiency equivalents will be reviewed by Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s International Admissions Representative in consultation with the relevant program head. Registrar approval will be required.

Applicants who do not possess the academic qualifications for a program may be admitted if evidence of probable success can be established through an alternative admission assessment.
Applicants are automatically considered for alternative admission. However, some specific admission requirements may still need to be met.
