The Nano-science program provides undergraduate students a unique opportunity to study the chemical and physical behavior of of materials at the nano-scale. Specialized laboratory courses have been developed to give our undergraduate students a unique hands-on laboratory experience where students learn to prepare a variety of nano-materials and measure their properties using state of the art imaging and spectroscopic instruments. The Nano-science courses are taught by members of the Physics and Chemistry departments, providing students with a multidisciplinary education that prepares them for a variety of career options.

The Co-op program in Nano-science is a five year program, including five work terms.
Note: A minimum of four Co-op work terms including a Summer, Fall, and Winter are necessary to complete the Co-op requirement. *A fifth Co-op work term is optional and if completed, the total number of credits will equal 22.50
