You will graduate with the skills to address complex social issues, integrate local and global knowledge and perspectives, collaborate across disciplinary, organisational and cultural boundaries, and perform human processes that cannot be mechanised or automated.
Studying Spanish is not simply about learning a language—it's an experience that will open your mind to different cultures.
Spanish Studies help you achieve a functional level of competency in listening, speaking, writing and reading the Spanish language from Spain.
Learning the language also introduces you to the culture and intellectual accomplishments of Spanish-speaking people in Spain itself and the many Spanish-speaking countries around the world.
This major is offered to beginners. During the course, you will also study past and present Spanish literature, films and popular culture, providing a holistic and stimulating cultural and educational experience.
Students who are native speakers of Spanish will not be granted access to any of these units.
