In this highly flexible degree, you can major in various health sciences in your first year of study

Majors include Medical and Exercise Science (Bendigo only), Psychological Science, Public Health, Climate Change, Health Promotion, Health, Well-being and Performance, and Rehabilitation Counselling.

Academic background and requirement

To enter La Trobe undergraduate programs, at a minimum, you’ll need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a particular grade. 

Subject Prerequisites:

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

 

China:

China National College Entrance Examination (GAOKAO): 60%

China Senior Middle School 3 (Gao San): 90%

 

India:

All Indian Secondary School Certificate: 70%

India State Boards: 70%

 

Foundation Study: 

In your Foundation Studies program, you’ll study four subjects in each of your two trimesters. 

You’ll also undertake independent learning to develop learning and research skills to prepare you for university.
