La Trobe's Bachelor of Psychological Science will prepare you for a career as a professional psychologist or in a psychology-related field across industries from clinical psychology to human services and marketing.

Elective subjects with a choice of minor sequences in Human Relationships and Neuroscience gives you the flexibility to work towards the career you want.

Academic background and requirement

To enter La Trobe undergraduate programs, at a minimum, you’ll need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a particular grade. 

Subject Prerequisites:

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

 

China:

China National College Entrance Examination (GAOKAO): 60%

China Senior Middle School 3 (Gao San): 85%

 

India:

All Indian Secondary School Certificate: 60%

India State Boards: 65%

 

Foundation Study: 

In your Foundation Studies program, you’ll study four subjects in each of your two trimesters. 

You’ll also undertake independent learning to develop learning and research skills to prepare you for university.
