Overview

Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)

Maximise your nursing impact when you study for a La Trobe Enrolled Nurse Entry degree.

You'll graduate ready to extend your career as an AHPRA Registered Nurse or into other pathways in primary/aged care, hospices, schools or administrative positions.

Begin your hands-on experience at the on-campus clinical simulation centres, moving into supervised learning in hospitals and healthcare agencies.

You'll develop a strong foundation in acute nursing care, nursing research and Indigenous health, then specialise in passion areas like mental health nursing and chronic illness.

In this course, you'll:

  • Take your existing qualification into an even more impactful career.
  • Extend your nursing expertise, including long-term chronic illness care, Indigenous health, biosciences, emergency healthcare and mental health care.
  • Learn in La Trobe's on-campus clinical learning units.
  • Have the opportunity for clinical opportunities in leading local and global learning facilities.
  • Receive advanced standing credits for your previous degree so you can complete it in two years instead of three.
  • Graduate with an AQF Level 7 qualification.

To support your studies, you may be eligible for a La Trobe or Australian College of Nursing scholarship.
