Geographers study the Earth's climate and landscapes, as well as people and the communities in which they live.
This major incorporates a wide range of opportunities to develop career-relevant skills including GIS, field-based data collection and analysis, as well as professional communication approaches such as policy briefs, consultancy reports and oral presentations.
The single major is structured in a way that allows students to include enriching optional elective Geography courses that include overseas fieldwork units (past destinations includes: Bali, Barcelona, Seattle and Japan), and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL).

This major requires a certain level of Mathematics. If you do not meet this level, you may be able to take additional Mathematics units in your first year to satisfy this requirement.
