Overview

Master of Health, Safety and Environment - Environmental Health

The Master of Health, Safety, and Environment at QUT aims to equip individuals with the specialised skills and advanced knowledge required for professional practice or research in Environmental Health (EH).

Graduates will be able to lead and influence the development of high standards of EH.

Traditionally, organisations have employed graduates from various disciplines to fill EH roles.

However, there is an increasing trend for companies and government organisations to seek graduates who can occupy both the EH roles.

Convergence of the EH roles is common in mining, manufacturing, and construction industries, where the production processes have both on-site and off-site impacts.

The government and other industries are starting to follow this trend.
