Language pathway (conditional offer) is available

The English for Academic Purposes program is comprised of four levels:

  • Pre-Intermediate
  • Intermediate
  • High Intermediate
  • Advanced

Each level of study takes one semester (four months) to complete; a placement test on the first day of classes will determine in which level you will begin. Our semesters for EAP begin each year in January, May, and September.

Each level of EAP consists of two courses: Writing/Reading and Communication. These two courses make a full-time program across 12-week semesters for Fall, Spring, and Summer. Each course is 10 hours/week.


Academic background and requirement

Iran: Peesh-daneshgahii (pre-university) Certificate of Completion with a minimum average of 13/20

China: Senior Secondary Graduation Certificate and, Year 1/2/3 High School Transcript with the 72% or higher (where 60% is the passing grade) on all courses completed in the 2nd Semester of Year 3

India: Academic Standard XII certificate (e.g. Higher Secondary School Certificate, All-India Senior School Certificate, Indian School Certificate) with Second Division standing. Vocational Standard XII certificates will be considered on a case-by-case basis
