The MEng in Software Engineering is an advanced program in which students and IT professionals broaden their understanding of software engineering and its applications.
Software engineers apply engineering principles and practices to design, test, operate and maintain computer software.
Students in the program at Concordia University will enhance their analytic and design skills and improve their ability to present technical material in written form.
Graduates are trained to work on all aspects of the software product life cycle.
They learn how to develop high-capacity computer software in a controlled, systematic and quantifiable manner and to ensure that it is reliable, efficient and financially viable.
The normal duration of the program is two years, but it is also open to those interested in part-time study.
