Overview

Bachelor of Science - Geology

This Major is not offered currently.

Geology is the study of the Earth, its origin, structure and composition. Rocks are a vital component of our landscape.

They give us clues about how and when it formed and the materials it contains.

What you'll learn

Geology encompasses many parts of the Earth's system.

In studying the Earth’s origins and evolution, you will learn about the planet's formation, how the continents and oceans are formed, how they grow or are destroyed, and how all this was discovered.

By studying fossils, you'll learn how our climate has changed over time and what that means for our environment.
