Economics is about answering how and why. How and why do we produce, distribute, and purchase our goods and services? How and why do we address problems? How and why do we make decisions? When we attempt to answer those questions, we attempt to understand Economics.
In the Economics program at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, you’ll learn to use analytical, mathematical, and statistical techniques to answer questions and solve problems. You’ll examine the roles individuals, consumers, small businesses, managers, CEOs, and politicians play in shaping both the Canadian and global economies.
A certificate in Economics and a certificate in Financial Markets are also available.
Interactive classes with award-winning instructors provide opportunities for you to debate, question, and work closely with your instructors and peers.
