Overview

Bachelor of Science - Nursing

Develop a strong understanding of social justice and political advocacy in the healthcare environment by choosing courses with topics including aging, mental health, Indigenous communities, rural healthcare, as well as gender and women’s health.

At the frontlines of healthcare, nurses are figures of wellness, support, and strength. At Trent, we emphasize a well-rounded approach to healthcare and will prepare you for success whether you want to work in a hospital setting or somewhere less traditional.

Beginning in year one, you will be immersed in both theory and practice through lectures, seminars, case studies, simulation labs, online coursework, and clinical practice.

You will not only develop the important skills necessary for nursing, you’ll also have the opportunity to practice what you’ve learned through a range of hospital and community placement settings

The Trent/Fleming School of Nursing offers three undergraduate programs leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.N.) We have an integrated, collaborative four-year program and a compressed program for students with sufficient university credits to fast track through the program in less than three years.
