This double degree at The University of New South Wales builds essential business knowledge in fields like finance or business analytics, combined with skilled mathematical analysis using statistics for excellent decision-making. 

The Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Commerce is a 4-year dual degree program that enables students to complete a depth of study from the actuarial studies program and the option to increase their business knowledge by choosing one or two majors offered in the Bachelor of Commerce at the UNSW Business School.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is a highly valued business qualification offering students a career-focused education for long-term success. 

The Actuarial Studies program serves as a foundation for students who wish to enter the actuarial profession. 

Students can choose from 12 commerce majors:

  • Accounting / Behavioural Economics / Business Analytics / Business Economics / Finance / FinTech / Human Resource Management / Information Systems / Innovation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship / International Business / Marketing / Taxation

Direct entry applicants to UNSW must hold acceptable high school qualifications for admission.

At a minimum, you must have a qualification considered equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Australia.
