Students must complete the core course Principles of Human Resource Management and Employment Relations (7001EHR) before or concurrent with the courses in this major.

This program includes a dissertation pathway. The dissertation pathway can provide a pathway to a higher degree by researching candidates with a qualifying GPA.

Academic background and requirement

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Business, a student must:

  • hold any Bachelor's degree (or higher) from a recognised university (or another tertiary institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale); OR
  • hold a related Bachelor's degree or Graduate Certificate (or equivalent) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale) - students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing; OR
  • hold a related Bachelor Honours or Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) from a recognised university (or another tertiary institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale) - students will be eligible for 80 credit points of advanced standing; OR
  • hold a Griffith Graduate Certificate in Policy Analysis (or equivalent) or a Griffith Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale) - students will receive 40 credit points of credit; OR
  • have a combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal and non-formal learning equivalent to one of the above.

 

Note: Relevant work experience will be considered as part of an application.

Study option

If you do not meet the academic entry criteria, you may be able to study the Masters Qualifying Program and qualify for entry into this Masters's degree.
