PATHWAYS TO FURTHER STUDY

The Master of Environment qualification will provide a pathway to Doctoral studies.

Students wishing to pursue a Doctorate can choose an elective 40 credit point research dissertation component in addition to the core 10 credit point Research Design and Methods course.

Students wishing to pursue doctoral research will need to complete the 40 credit Dissertation, which will usually be taken in the final Trimester of Year 2 of the program.

Students will typically only be admitted to the dissertation after completing special courses and after achieving a minimum GPA of 5.5 (using a 7.0 scale) in comprehensive courses in the program up to entry to the Dissertation.

Admission is also conditional upon the program director's approved research project proposal, including a supervisor's nomination and consent.
