In this industry-focused degree you'll gain specialist skills in the analysis, design, and operation of sophisticated aerospace hardware and software.
You'll study a broad range of areas such as aerodynamics, aerospace materials and structures, aerospace systems, design, dynamics and control, thermodynamics, and propulsion.
Elective studies will allow you to tailor the course to suit your areas of interest and enhance your career opportunities.
Sustainability issues are built into multiple areas of the course. This increases your employ-ability as there is increasing demand for long-term engineering solutions in this industry.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) degree are eligible for graduate and/or professional membership of Engineers Australia.
To ensure you graduate job-ready, you’ll also have an opportunity to undertake a work-integrated learning (industry experience) elective.
In year 3 your studies will move to the Bundoora campus so you can utilize specialist facilities.

You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 65%.
Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
