The Bachelor of Science is a highly flexible degree that allows you to choose your specialisation.
The first year provides a transformative learning experience, in which you will learn and explore core science concepts across physical, life, data and mathematical science disciplines and develop and strengthen key scientific and transferable skills that will underpin your future studies and careers.
Currently, you can choose a major in biological sciences, applied chemistry or physics, or else choose to major in general science (applied sciences), which offers more flexibility in its curriculum.
No matter which path you choose, practical experiences are a fundamental part of your studies, and you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills to real-world projects and problems.
You will study in state-of-the-art facilities using industry-standard tools and equiopment, ensuring you are job-ready when you graduate.
Industry connections
You will have the opportunity to work on research projects and practical activities, often undertaken in collaboration with industry.
The final year project will also give you the opportunity to develop an independent research project which can involve an industry partner.
Note: You will not need to pay any application fee but some of African countries will need to deposit of AU$100 application fee.

You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 65%
Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
