Prepare for a career designing and building sustainable community infrastructure
Victoria University's Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil Engineering) degree will prepare you for a rewarding career designing and building essential infrastructure that improves people's lives in your community.
You will learn about the planning, design, construction, and management of a wide range of infrastructure projects, including:
VU's civil engineering graduates are known as well-rounded, accredited engineers.
Focus on practical teaching and work experience will have you job-ready on graduation.
Offer industry placements and high-tech engineering laboratories.
As a civil engineer, you can run your own practice or work for government authorities, private industry consulting firms, or major construction companies.
Students are required to complete 12 weeks of industry placement.
