But the department would like to draw your attention to three key features of the department grad programs: The department offers very strong programming in cultural studies - the department covers literature, film, and theory across all periods and genres. The department offers very strong programming in applied linguistics. 

Theory, second language acquisition, discourse analysis, computer-assisted language learning - the department does it all. the department offers excellent training for both academic and non-academic careers. 

With the department you'll gain in-depth, guided experience in teaching language and culture courses, both in-class and online. But if you don't want to become a prof, the department helps you identify the skills you gain in graduate study and market them in other fields.
