It also believes that humans have the natural capacity to understand and respond to stories that are at the heart of this program in Theatre. The Theatre program at Crandall is rooted in the concept of storytelling – the narrative.
The university welcomes you to deepen your understanding of the narrative and hone your skills as a storyteller as you participate in the Theatre program.
Build a foundation in the theoretical concepts of storytelling at the beginning of your program. Participate with other students in dramatic productions on campus.
Spend a year immersed in the profession of technical or performance theatre at Rosebud School of the Arts (Alberta) as part of your degree.
Have your life transformed through the internship option of participating in the Canadian Badlands Passion Play (Alberta), and create a strategic network with professional actors and theatre personnel.
Enjoy the opportunity for international travel to either New York or London where you will enjoy and learn through top-notch professional performances.
Complete your program at Crandall by giving leadership to the productions as a component of your final year of studies.

Applicants who meet Crandall University’s academic requirements but have not provided proof of English language proficiency may be granted a conditional offer of admission.
Students may complete a university-preparatory English language program at a partner Language Centre: McKenzie College or Atlantic Canada Language Academy.

Level Placement
Students take a placement test on their first day to determine their English level. Students who test at level 10 or above may directly enter the University Pathway Program.
Students who test at level 9 or below, will begin in the General English program.
International applicants are required to have completed a preparatory program that leads to university entrance in their own country.
Generally, an academic language arts course and a minimum of four additional university-preparatory courses are required.
Secondary school applicants need to have achieved in their final year of schooling an average of 70% (5 best scoring academic subjects).
Applicants who are looking to transfer from another post-secondary institution are required to have an overall GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.3 scale).
