Graduate Certificate - IT Business Analysis

This intensive program at Cambrian College will enable you to advance strategic, tactical, and operational businesses by improving processes, products, and services through technology. 

You will become a robust and valuable professional who is confident in bridging the gap between business and technology through your development of exceptional communication, leader, problem-solving, planning, and critical thinking skills.

Gain a thorough understanding of performing elicitations, writing specifications, creating and using models, evaluating opportunities, analyzing information, negotiating deals, providing quality assurance, and working through difficult situations.

As a graduate of this program, you will ask the right questions, get the right answers, and use appropriate analysis techniques to drill into the details to obtain meaningful insight. 

You will be confident in making recommendations, and when you communicate with stakeholders, you will get sign-offs and buy-ins.

Students graduating from this program will be familiar with the global standards for Business Analysis as defined by the IIBA© and BABOK®.

Academic background and requirement

  • Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent.

OR

  • Applicant must possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience) as judged by the College to be equivalent.
