Language pathway (conditional offer) is available

As an international student, you have the option of learning English at Seneca's English Language Institute (ELI) before starting your professional program. There are eight (8) levels in the ELI that are seven (7) weeks in length each. There are six (6) start dates per year: January, March, May, July, September and November.
You may apply directly to ELI without a professional program. We will use your English test score to place you in the most appropriate ELI level. If you do not have an English score, you will take a placement test when you arrive on campus.


Academic background and requirement

Ontario university or college degree or college diploma or equivalent in computer programming, software development or related discipline. Applicants with a degree or diploma in a non-related field with two years IT-related work experience (or with completion of computer programming courses) will be considered for admission. Applicants with significant related work experience that is the equivalent of the above may be considered for Admission. A relevant resume and references must be provide.
