Environmental engineers focus on the impact on the natural world through engineering activities.
They combine their broad knowledge of engineering and environmental processes to identify environmental problems and then develop effective solutions.
They also coordinate the activities of various specialist groups within major projects, such as biologists, ecologists and geologists.
Environmental Engineering at The University of New South Wales embraces parts of Civil Engineering, emphasising management, system design, water, geotechnical and transport engineering.
It also covers aspects of Chemical Engineering, applied and biological sciences, and environmental studies.
You'll apply these skills through 60 days of approved industry training to get you work-ready.
Students must complete a minimum of 60 days of Industrial Training to graduate. Industrial Training must be undertaken concurrently with enrolment in the program.

Direct entry applicants to UNSW must hold acceptable high school qualifications for admission.
