Mechanical and manufacturing engineering turns energy into power and motion by designing smart mechanical systems. 

The Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at The University of New South Wales stream is designed for students with a mechanical engineering major whose interests also lie in realising, commercialising and implementing mechanical and mechatronic systems and designs.

Mechanical and manufacturing engineers apply scientific and engineering knowledge to develop, manufacture and distribute all products.

Direct entry applicants to UNSW must hold acceptable high school qualifications for admission.
