Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Telecommunications)

Telecommunications engineering at The University of New South Wales is the most rapidly developing and dynamic field of Engineering.

Telecommunications are responsible for a range of services used daily, including landline and mobile phone services, internet and pay television. 

Telecommunications Engineers design, develop and maintain all aspects of voice and data communications systems. 

They work on the theory and application of a broad range of systems such as telephone and data networks, radio and TV, satellites and deep space applications.

The undergraduate curricula are being progressively revised to provide flexible training to suit the future needs of students.

Individual student needs can be further met by substitution provisions within the programs.

Students must complete a minimum of 60 days of Industrial Training to graduate. Industrial Training must be undertaken concurrently with enrolment in the program.
