This degree not only educates and trains pilots to the highest commercial standards, it also develops future industry leaders and managers.
In this degree at The University of New South Wales, you'll learn the science behind aviation as well as gain your flying licence. In addition to theoretical studies, you will have up to 200 hours of flight training and approximately 30 hours of simulator training.
You will also take courses in aviation management, allowing you to enter management roles in the industry.

In addition to submitting the application, you must complete the Internal Application and Interview form.
The standardised interview targets benchmarks in mental arithmetic, planning/initiative/independence, teamwork, motor skills, situation awareness, self-confidence, passion/motivation/interest, sense of entitlement, reaction to criticism and communication.
You will also need to obtain a CASA Class 1 medical certificate from a designated aviation medical examiner and be assessed for ICAO English requirement for pilots before beginning flying training.
