Master of Commerce (Extension) - Economics and Finance

UNSW’s Business School’s Master of Commerce Extension (MCom (Ext)) is a postgraduate coursework degree that can be completed in two years full-time. 

Designed in consultation with industry, this degree prepares you with a depth of knowledge, a breadth of experience, and the hands-on experience needed to succeed across diverse careers in business.  

With 14 specialisations, the MCom (Ext) allows you to study one or two business areas.

Academic background and requirement

Applicants require a recognised undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average, as determined by the UNSW Business School. 

You may be considered eligible if your undergraduate degree WAM is between 60-64% and your GMAT score is 600 or above.

Note: If you’ve studied an undergraduate degree that relates to the areas of business you’d like to study, you could be eligible for up to 24 Units of Credit (UOC), or four courses of RPL. These credit points will allow you to take fewer subjects and graduate sooner.
