The Master of Engineering at The University of New South Wales is a flexible postgraduate degree delivered by Australia’s leading engineering faculty and designed for students who require an accredited engineering qualification.
You can choose one of nine specialisations:
Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Renewable Energy and Telecommunications.
The stream of Electrical Engineering enables students to specialise and gain depth of knowledge across a broad range of areas, including signal processing, energy systems, control systems, microsystems and photonics.

Students must complete a minimum of pre-approved 60 days of Industrial Training to graduate. Industrial Training must be undertaken concurrently with enrolment in the program.

Admission to this program requires one of the following:
A pathway for entry into the program for graduates from both 4-year Bachelor of Engineering degrees in non-cognate disciplines, and 3-year Bachelor of Science degrees, exists via:
enrolment first into the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program, where advanced standing (to a maximum of 2 years) may be granted.
