Master of Management - Financial Economics

The Master of Management will increase your business knowledge to help move your career in a new direction. 

You don’t have to have a qualification in business to undertake this master’s.

The Master of Management is a professional, relevant, and contemporary qualification. 

It has a unique core of courses that focus on key business skills like communication, leading and working in teams, and current issues in business.

Financial economics concentrates on decision-making under uncertainty. These decisions are applied to a variety of capital markets and asset pricing. 

There is a greater emphasis on the role of information in economic coordination and organizations. 

You will build upon your undergraduate studies to gain an international perspective on management.

You will learn from the university business experts – Massey University has the largest and one of the most highly respected management schools in New Zealand.

Academic background and requirement

To enter the Master of Management (Financial Economics) you will:

  • been awarded or qualified for a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, having achieved a grade average of at least B- (65%-69.99%) in the highest level courses, or
  • been awarded or qualified for a Postgraduate Diploma in Business with a B- (65%-69.99%) grade average, or equivalent.
