The Master of Management will increase your business knowledge to help move your career in a new direction. You don’t have to have a qualification in business to undertake this master’s.
You may not have previous international business experience, but have found yourself a manager of staff working in this area. Or you may be looking at moving into a management role in the international business area.
If so, Massey’s Master of Management (International Business) will increase your understanding and expertise in international-business related skills and knowledge. Such expertise is particularly relevant when working for firms in countries with small domestic markets (like New Zealand), where internationalisation is an imperative.
The Master of Management is a rigorous programme, where you will be expected to achieve at a high level. The quality of the university graduates reflects this, and contributes to the reputation of the qualification.

A 60-credit project in your second year examines a real-life case study. You will learn from the university business experts – Massey University has the largest and one of the most highly respected management schools in New Zealand.
This qualification has a ‘dual award’ option which allows you to gain a dual degree from both the University of Greenwich (London, England) and Massey University. With this option you will study for at least one semester in England.

If you have a Postgraduate Diploma in Business as outlined above, you may apply for credit towards Part One of the qualification, in a single subject. Credit may be awarded in in accordance with the limits specified in the Recognition of Prior Learning regulations.
If you are granted credit, the degree will be awarded without a subject.
Full Foundation - Certificate in Foundation Studies: Successful completion of this qualification will give you admission to university and prepare you for undergraduate study.
