A business is only as good as its employees, and its employees are only as good as their HR (Human Resource) team.
This is why human resource management plays a critical role in every organisation and is a rapidly growing profession.
Career trend experts predict human resource management jobs will only increase in the future, along with an HR professional’s median annual income.
While reasonable people skills are an in-demand attribute across every industry, it’s particularly critical for anyone entering this field.
You need to genuinely care about the wellbeing and development of employees, which often results in close working relationships with people across the entire spectrum of an organisation.
You’ll gain up to 175 hours of workplace and community experience before graduating.
As part of the Work Integrated Learning program, you’ll gain 105 hours of industry placement in your area of specialisation.
As part of your degree, you’ll have the opportunity to work with not-for-profit organisations with 35 to 70 hours of community engagement experience.
