For our English as a Second Language program, we require a minimum IELTS score of 3.0; for entry into English for Academic Purposes, we require a minimum IELTS score of 4.5. Both programs run full-time for 8 months. Students beginning in English as a Second Language will then take an additional 8 months full-time of English for Academic Purposes before moving into their program of study. Our Admissions Office can advise you on how best to submit your IELTS score during the registration process.

International students applying through the SDS Program (Study Direct Stream) from India, China, Vietnam or Philippines should note that the SDS IELTS requirements are 6.0 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands.


Academic background and requirement

Must be a graduate of a college or university diploma or degree program or possess equivalent work-related experience and training.
