Master of Science - Animal Science

Animal science blends basic and applied sciences in animal production technology preparing our graduates to respond to the changes in the animal industry. The department provides both undergraduate and graduate studies including animal behaviour and welfare, genetics, nutrition, biochemistry, and physiology.

The department offers courses leading to MSc and PhD degrees. department has a strong emphasis on sustainable agricultural systems and the use of mathematical models to describe these systems. Some faculty members also have an interest in human disease processes.
