Interior decorators affect our daily lives through colors, textiles, lighting, form, and function.
You'll learn to interact with trades and other professionals to create the spaces where we live and work.
This two-year (4-term) diploma program at Bow Valley College is recognized by the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada (DDA).
You'll learn the practical skills and techniques to successfully manage interior decorating projects and work effectively in business environments in a variety of roles related to interior decorating.
When you graduate from the Interior Decorating program, you can expect many job opportunities.
Look for careers as an interior decorator; color, furniture, or lighting consultant; interior draft person; stylist; stager; or in the kitchen and bath industry.
The skills you learn in this program open opportunities for advancement in many different areas.

The International English Language Learning program offers five levels. Each level costs approximately $4,959 per semester.
Your initial level placement can be determined by submitting a valid English language proficiency exam result (IELTS Academic, Duolingo, TOEFL, or Pearson PTE).
The level placement will be based on the lowest band score of the official English proficiency exam result.
Students who successfully complete Academic English 2 with a grade of “B-” or higher meet the language proficiency requirements for most Bow Valley College, SAIT, and other post-secondary programs.
