This diploma at Bow Valley College provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a career within corrections. 

Correctional Studies graduates are currently in high demand across the province. 

This is a two-year (four-term) diploma program with an optional non-credit fifth term (field work placement).

Note: All learners registered in the Justice Studies Diploma program are encouraged to write the Test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES) assessment in term one of their program.

The International English Language Learning program offers five levels. Each level costs approximately $4,959 per semester. 

Your initial level placement can be determined by submitting a valid English language proficiency exam result (IELTS Academic, Duolingo, TOEFL, or Pearson PTE). 

The level placement will be based on the lowest band score of the official English proficiency exam result.

Students who successfully complete Academic English 2 with a grade of “B-” or higher meet the language proficiency requirements for most Bow Valley College, SAIT, and other post-secondary programs.
