The program at Federation University covers critical areas of electrical circuits, signals and systems, energy conversion, power electronics, power systems, electrical power distribution and protection systems, control systems and renewable energy.
The curriculum also covers sensors, artificial perception, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in smart energy systems.
There is a strong focus on research and project-based learning to apply learned concepts, including an independent research project in the final year.
As a graduate, you may seek managerial roles with private consultants, contracting companies, or federal, state and local government organisations.

The English and Academic Preparation (EAP) program is a non-award University accredited access and preparatory pathway program for non-English speaking international students intending to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate degree studies at Federation University Australia.
International students cannot apply directly for EAP programs, they must apply for an Undergraduate or Postgraduate program and provide their English test scores.

Places will be allocated based on academic performance in the applicant's undergraduate program.
You may apply to enrol only in the stream (or discipline) which matches the stream (or discipline) in which you obtained your Bachelor's degree/s.
