Overview

Master of Technology (Enterprise Systems and Business Analytics)

This post-graduate program at Federation University allows students to understand relevant topics and technology about:

  • ES (like ERP (Enterprise resource planning), SCM (Software Configuration Management), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • BPR (Business Process Reengineering)
  • Big Data
  • Business Analytics
  • Cloud Computing
  • IS Security
  • Project Management and
  • IT Strategy

It uses cutting-edge technologies from leading vendors like:

  • SAP (Systems Applications and Products in data processing)
  • IBM (International Business Machines)
  • SAS (Statistical Analysis System)
  • Teradata

In addition, students will participate in ERP simulation games that teach ERP concepts "by doing".

This program allows students to gain up-to-date knowledge and skills to analyse, implement and use ES (Enterprise Systems)

It further enhances the student's ability to comprehend how and why these systems provide economic, technological, operational and strategic value to an adopting organisation.

It unleashes the strategies to manage ES implementation to achieve the anticipated benefits.

To provide hands-on experience with ES, courses in this program are embedded with software from leading ES vendors like SAP.

Students not only develop skills in learning SAP but also gain the opportunity to prepare for SAP certifications related to business processes, business intelligence and HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance)

By doing this, students will have a competitive advantage in the job market.

Master of Technology (ES & BA) is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) as a professional-level course.

The ACS has reciprocal arrangements with many international computer societies, and student qualifications will be recognised worldwide.
