This program at Georgian College has been planned in cooperation with Transport Canada Marine Safety and Security (TCMSS) and Canada’s shipping companies.
Students acquire a complete education that will prepare them for the occupation of the ship’s Navigation Officer.
The specialized competencies and work experience also provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary for employment in government and in other marine-related industries.

Note: International students applying through the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program from Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Senegal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, or Vietnam should note that the SDS IELTS requirements are 6.0 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands.
