The CELUSA Academic English (AE) program is for students looking to develop their skills to meet the English language admission requirements necessary for academic study at the University of South Australia.
CELUSA recommends an intense language course of at least 10 weeks will help develop the skills to lift your IELTS score by half a band score.

Applicants must have completed a three-year Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution.
Applicants who have completed a four-year Bachelor's degree in Education, or a four-year Bachelor's degree with studies in educational methodology and curriculum (equivalent to 18 units), are eligible to enter the program with 0.5 EFTSL Advanced Standing and complete the program in 1.5 years of full-time study or equivalent part-time study.
Applicants who have completed a four-year Bachelor's degree in Education with a major (6 courses) in English language and/or linguistics and 2 years of relevant experience in an educational setting or a four-year Bachelor's degree with studies in educational methodology and curriculum (equivalent to 18 units) as well as a major in English language and/or linguistics and 2 years of teaching experience are eligible to enter the program with 1.0 EFTSL (36 units) Advanced Standing and complete the program in 1 year of full-time study or equivalent part-time study.
