Chisholm’s Bachelor of Engineering Technology, specialising in mechanical and manufacturing, will prepare you for a career as an engineering technologist, a career in high demand both locally and across the world.

You'll be exposed to a broad range of technical subjects, skill sets and industry trends, ensuring you'll stand out from the crowd when looking for employment.

Through this course, you'll develop advanced skills in engineering practice, project management, problem-solving, programming concepts, engineering system design, engineering scientific principles, instrumentation principles, manufacturing systems and workplace training.

Academic background and requirement

  • Academic: Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent, including studies equivalent to VCE* Units 3 & 4 in Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics;
  • A selection interview to demonstrate the capability to undertake study at degree level and personal attributes suitable for the profession of Engineering Technology; and
  • Complete a mathematics test (provided by Chisholm) to assess academic skills.

Note: Must be at least 18 years of age at enrolment.
