The Bachelor of Commerce/Law at UNSW will distinguish you in a competitive business world, underpinned by a comprehensive legal education.

You'll build a thorough understanding of the legal processes, systems and frameworks in society and knowledge of how the law and business interact. 

In your Commerce degree, you’ll learn core business principles across a range of disciplines through Integrated First Year. 

You’ll choose courses that align with your interests and career ambitions, with specialised studies in accounting, business, analytics, economics, finance, financial technology, human resource management, information systems, marketing and taxation.

Whether you’re pursuing a career in legal practice or wanting to make your mark in the business world, you'll graduate prepared for success with relevant industry experience and connections and with the skills to provide strategic commercial and legal advice.

You must complete at least one course with a work-integrated learning focus such as an internship or business practicum.

Academic background and requirement

Direct entry applicants to UNSW must hold acceptable high school qualifications for admission.

At a minimum, you must have a qualification considered equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Australia.
