This advanced course in human nutrition draws content from related disciplines such as public health, food science, biochemistry, physiology, epidemiology, psychology, sociology, and politics and policy.
Throughout the course at Deakin University, you will develop advanced knowledge of human nutrition.
You will also gain an understanding of the biological, social, and policy-related aspects of human nutrition, along with skills that will enable you to practice effectively as a nutritionist in various employment settings.
The prescribed course structure includes research-specific units - 1 credit point for research-related study, 1 credit point for independent research, and 1 credit point in the nutrition assessment unit.
