Academic background and requirement

You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 70%.

Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post-secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.

Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted.

Program entry into BP320 is based on academic merit and non-academic attributes that are considered important for a teaching career and consistent with university and government requirements.

Prerequisites:

Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Units 1 and 2: satisfactory completion in two units (any study combination) of Maths: 

General Mathematics, Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics or Units 3 and 4: any Mathematics; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.
